We've been regulars at Peony for at least 3 years now. Several neighbors and friends recommended the restaurant when we moved here and despite driving by a few times, it took us over a year to finally stop for a meal. (Admittedly, the place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's in a strip mall right off of the 16.) HOWEVER, the food blew us away. At this point, we've probably ordered a good portion of the menu, but we definitely have favorites. The Christmas roll (fantastic sushi every time we're there btw) is my go to and I love the cabbage salad that is brought to the table first. The beef bulgogi is another family favorite. We like to go for a light sushi lunch most of the time, but we've been there for dinners plenty of times too. Friday and Saturday nights can randomly be very busy, but most of the time, you're seated immediately.
